Altano Douro Rewilding Wine in a Tube is a new blend exclusively for the Rewilding Edition. It is suitable for vegans & vegetarians. It is full of vibrant red fruit aromas with floral rock rose scents, reflecting the woodland and scrub of the Douro. There is lots of ripe fruit well balanced by crisp acidity and spicy tannins on the palate from the Touriga Franca, for the fresh, floral aromatics; Tinta Roriz , for the bright, rich red fruit flavours and the Tinta Barroca , for structure, substance and vigour.
It is aged briefly in used French and American oak barrels of 400 L. The larger barrel size ensures that the wood subtly complements the fruit.
