It comes from old vines of the small 6 hectare vineyard in hilly terrain of volcanic origin at 600 m above sea level in the municipality of Maschito. Powerful and imperious, it is vinified in purity, it is refined in French Allier barriques which dominate the power of Aglianico making it warm and velvety, with notes of vanilla, candied fruit and thyme. VINIFICATION AND REFINEMENT: The bunches were harvested between the last ten days of October and the first days of November. Vinified with a pre-fermentation maceration at 5°C for 10 days and a fermentation conducted with natural yeasts for 10-15 days with a maximum temperature of 26°C. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine ages in French oak barriques for 18-24 months.
