La Loges aux Moine was first planted in the 11th Century by the Benedictine Monks, located 200m altitude on a South facing slope overlooking the Loire Valley. The soil is 100% fossil rich, Kimmeridgian seabed, which is amazing and is also well known for its Chablis.
The Moreux family care deeply about this piece of Monopole land and add no fertilisers or chemicals.
The wine is vinified according to the lunar cycle and is made with wild yeasts with no clarification, to increase the aroma and taste of the wine.
