But behind that bombastic name is a super modern winery. The cooperative was founded in 1956 to value the almost 1,000 hectares of vineyards in the Autol area, south of Logroño.Marques de Reinosa built a new winery in the year 2000. This construction has all the technology and the greatest advances put at the service of the grape. For example, during the harvest, when the grapes arrive, a mechanical arm takes a sample and immediately analyzes more than 20 different parameters. According to the analysis data, the grapes are classified by quality and directed to a certain hopper where they will follow a production protocol, according to that quality and those parameters.
