An attractive silver with a touch of green colour. The citrusy, tangy aromatic bouquet is the key of this wine. Dry with a subtle sweetness in the middle on the palate, vivacious and crisp, retaining good minerality at the finish.
The Haindl-Erlacher wine estate – a family tradition comitted to quality and nature, is situated close to Vienna, in the south of Weinviertel, the northernmost wine region of Austria, well kown as the “land of veltliner”.
The family winery in Wolkersdorf in the Weinviertel is run by Romana and Walter Erlacher led. The former Austrian wine queen and the ambitious one. Lateral entrants from Styria help to cultivate 16 hectares of natural vineyards great personal commitment, main variety Grüner Veltliner.
The wine style shows the great symbiosis of the sympathetic winemaker duo: the charm of the Weinviertel paired with Styrian dynamism – fresh, fruity. These are white wines that are fun to drink and full-bodied Burgundy wines matured in large oak barrels for special occasions. No fast-moving 0815 wines, but wines with corners and edges. The wines are exciting, stylish and communicative, like the winemakers.
