Producer:
The Gasparri family has been producing wine since 1930, when they first purchased a small vineyard. Proof of this is the notarial contract in which appears the name of their great-grandfather Pietro who bought the Macinatico farm in the municipality of San Gimignano. For many years the cultivation of the vineyard and the production of wine have been part of the family agricultural production, together with the cultivation of olive trees and wheat. In 1965 Giuseppe and Romanello decided to specialize in the production of wine and oil, buying our current wine cellar and increasing the area under vines. Between 1988 and the early 2000s, wine production more than doubled with the purchase of new vineyards and the Agresto farm in 1997.
