Food Paring: Delicious as an aperitif, ideal with delicate appetizers based on vegetables and fish and first courses with seafood. We recommend it as a sparkling wine for enjoying with your whole meal.
Producer:
The company was founded by Pietro Tonon in 1936 and the Tonon family has been handing down his teachings for three generations. The name Camúl derives from a small portion of land located in the hilly area of Carpesica, near Vittorio Veneto, where the original family had been cultivating the flower of its wine production since the early 1900s. The cellar is capable of maintaining the high levels of quality achieved and at the same time making continuous progress by improving the production techniques that transmit new and pleasant sensations. Today the Camúl wines, enhanced in a modern key by Loris Tonon and his staff, still represent the excellence of the company, creating a sought-after niche wine. The company is a member of the Consortium for the protection of Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG wine.
Vinification: Vinified in white, (in the absence of skins) it then remains in contact with selected yeasts in the sparkling autoclaves for 150 days at a temperature of 15-18 °C. Subsequently it is cooled to -4 °C for 8/10 days in order to stabilize before being filtered and bottled.
